Dr. Treva Anderson, Ph.D., has dedicated her life to helping people develop the highest level of mental toughness and resilience to accomplish goals. Treva is originally from Florida. She attended Florida State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling. She then went on to earn her doctorate degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, fulfilling a goal she had since the age of 17. Dr. Anderson currently resides in the Columbia, South Carolina area with her husband and three children.
Beginning in 2007, Dr. Anderson has spent the majority of her professional career focused on providing training to the military in order to develop mental toughness and resilience with a wide variety of professionals. She is highly respected as an expert in maintaining and improving personal and organizational readiness. Outside of her work with the military, she also maintains a consistent stream of work with athletes at every level, from a wide variety of sports as well as other organizations that include schools, law enforcement and businesses.
In 2009 Dr. Anderson completed the requirements to become a Certified Mental Performance Consultant, certified by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, which is the gold standard in the field of performance psychology. She is passionate about giving back to those looking to develop in this field so she continues to serve as a mentor for those looking to become certified.
She has also earned the privilege of being listed in the United States Olympic Committee's Sport Psychology Registry.
Dr. Anderson's mission is focused on helping others pursue excellence. She believes that everyone can achieve high levels of performance with an effective mindset and hard work. In that context, she does require those she consults with to put in the work.
